Marked as "Company restricted", oh dear Amazon

This new “policy” just about says it all.

This is somewhat vague. Can you elaborate please?

Amazon trying to scare sellers who haven’t signed up to their automatic invoicing

at first I thought it was kind of nasty. I also refuse to give Amazon any authority over my invoicing, for obvious reasons.

But actually, these are the buyers who are being offered that awful credit option at our expense, without our permission, so perhaps it will minimize those orders. I still don’t see how that’s even legal. I know that in the TOS for the VAT invoicing scheme there’s a specific permission for providing credit, and that may be why they’re trying to force it, but I never signed it and I never agreed to offer credit to anybody. In any case, if people looking for credit won’t see my listings then that’s a good thing.

I can foresee in the future how Amazon will alter a bit their search formula to give a “better” visibility to listings that have the invoicing bit enabled.
