Amazon hopefully removing its monopoly on some listings?

Amazon recently posted on my homepage

"UK Commitments on Featured Offer

21 Feb 2024

Following the agreement reached recently with the Competition and Markets Authority, which covers the Amazon store in the UK, we will update the Featured Offer criteria in May 2024 for the UK store.

As we strive to show our customers the best Featured Offer on the product detail page, we'll continue to ensure that the criteria used to determine the Featured Offer are non-discriminatory and treat sellers and Amazon retail equally. Eligibility for Prime and the Prime badge won't be a criterion when determining the Featured Offer. Prime will continue to offer free and fast delivery which are factors that customers value and therefore are relevant in determining the Featured Offer"

I'm on a listing with only me and Amazon, the item sells 100-200 a month and was great at Christmas when Amazon went OOS, but since they restocked, they've matched any price I set and hoovered up 99 percent of the sales. The only way I've been able to get sales is by setting my repricer very aggressively and constantly manually upping my price, waiting for Amazon to match, then attacking on aggressive again, getting me a sale or two every few days... Its co-mingled stock (since theres no risk of another sellers bad stock) so theres no legitimate reason the sales are not shared 50/50 at an equal price. Hopefully Amazon's unfair monopoly control of this listing will soon come to an end....

Only if you can match their delivery speed. Some sellers can, most cannot / won't.
