Let me start by giving you a little background on this one
A customer bought a used like new item on a Friday 14th Feb and royal mail attempted to deliver on Monday17th Feb but were not successful as no one was in at the address. The customer straight away asked Amazon customer service for full refund citing the item is not delivered on the same day. Upon receiving this notification from Amazon, we checked the tracking and requested royal mail to reattempt delivery the next day and also advised the customer and the item was delivered on Tuesday 18th Feb.
The customer raised return request straight after receiving the item with an aggressive message. We enquired what the issue was and to our shock the customer started to send us a tirade of abusive and threatening messages without telling us what the problem with the product was!
We reported the messages to Amazon and informed the customer that amazon will have to step in to resolve this since we did not know what the issue was and the customer was very aggressive and abusive with their messages. The customer immediately gave us a 1 star review saying that ''Do not buy from this seller, they knowingly send broken items calling them like new''
This is completely false and untrue as we always confirm the item's condition notes (if not new) with the customer prior to dispatching even though the notes are on the listing. This was also the case for this customer.
We had to first endure the abusive messages and then also a 1 star review because the customer is allowed even after sending abusive and threatening messages to sellers. This undermines the great work our team does to ensure best customer experience. We asked seller support for the review to be removed given the circumstances but only received copy paste messages. This is extremely disappointing from a seller point of view as it looks like amazon is encouraging this kind of abusive buyers and undermines the sellers point of view.
