I recently changed my telephone number and Amazon subsequently emailed me to say that I needed to supply a document. Amongst the docs to choose from were confirmation letter of UTR. I thought ‘fine’ I can do that no problem. However, in my Amazon account, the document it says it wants is Power of Attorney.
I used their own example in their help pages, adding my name and my trading name, as appropriate and submitted it.
Today I have an email saying document invalid and with the following line…
“-- A copy of the Full extract of the data of a company legal person, the document must be stamped or authenticated electronically and dated within the last 180 days.”
I just don’t understand what they want. I have requested a call but 4 times now they have just cut me off before I get to speak to anyone.
This is what I sent - obviously I signed the copy I sent Amazon.
Please can someone help.
