New Listing - Manufacture - For or By?
I'm trying to list a new product that has a "Manufactured for" and a "Manufactured by". Which one does Amazon want to see?

Hello @Seller_B5BCyP1lCHlf5,
When listing a new product that has both “Manufactured for” and “Manufactured by” values, you should use the “Manufacturer” field to list the company that actually manufactured the product.
The “Brand” field should be used to list the brand name that the product is sold under, even if that brand is different from the manufacturer.
For example, if a product is “Manufactured for ABC Company” by “XYZ Manufacturing”, you would list:
- Brand: ABC Company
- Manufacturer: XYZ Manufacturing
This helps provide customers with accurate information about the product’s origin and brand.
For more information on the above, see the Brand and Manufacturer in Consumer Electronics page.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Regards,
- Manny
