If I withdraw a SAFE-T Claim, can I file again for the same order later?

Customer sent back the book to me but I did not receive it yet. The reason for the return is item arrived late

I checked tracking and it shows they received 1 week before the deadline

I filed a SAFE-T claim saying that item did not arrive late per the tracking

Amazon denied saying that item is on the way back to me.

Should I withdraw claim, wait for the book to arrive and then file SAFE-T Claim again for the same order?

Hi @Seller_8TlCpNhHELXAz,

Tatiana from Amazon here. Typically, we suggest waiting to file a claim until the returned item has been received by you because items that are still in transit will be automatically denied. Additionally, a Safe-T claim can only be filed once so you will not be able to withdraw it and file again once the item its received.

However, there is typically a window for appeal and if you receive the item within that window then you may be able to appeal the claim. I cannot guarantee that the claims team will change the outcome.

In the future, I would suggest waiting to file a claim once you receive the returned item. You can read more about the safe-t claim policy and procedures at this help page.
