Used Book Intellectual Property Violation
I received an Intellectual Property claim on a used book. I received no email or Amazon message regarding this. But it did show 2 IP claims on two identical books. I did not infringe on selling used books outside the EEA. It is published in the same country I am selling it. I have a feeling that this type of baseless IP claim is common that Amazon does not see a reason to send me a message or email. But will show me that a claim has been made against me and delist my items.
I have no problems with a few books being delisted. However, having these to claims up is worrying.
Problem about this is. There is nothing I can do that I know to prevent this from happening again.

you would not believe the cheek of some people, I sell unique designs and some individuals actually take my design, trademark it and send the notice to amazon, amazon is becoming a Trademark Infringement Playground for scammers.

Unfortunately, Amazon will expect you to e-mail notice-dispute@amazon.co.uk with an invoice proving that you procured the goods from within the EEA.
You either appeal the complaints or delete the ASINs from your inventory and wait for the defects to automatically disappear after 180 days.
But keep in mind that any unresolved complaints can trigger a suspension, anytime.

What is the book please and who is the dispute from? There should be an email address assosiated with the claim.

The legal situation is similar to selling works of art in general - the buyer can re-sell the original, hire it out etc. They are just not allowed to copy them and sell or lend out ‘fakes’. (co right Law)
In some jurisdictions creators of works of art now have a right to part of the proceeds on re-sale. This does not extend to re-sale, but one seller on Amazon claims to do this for re-sale of books where the originals are still within the copyright period.(As libraries pay authors something to reflect level of loans of books, licensed photocopying etc.)
The complaint is a vexatious political action.
