Incorrect quantities received on FBA shipment
I’ve had a few issues with items going missing items / incorrectly assigned to the wrong ASIN when inbounding FBA shipments recently.
I recently sent a pallet shipment of mixed SKU’s in which they said they’d received -2 of one SKU, and +15 of another.
The +15 is impossible because I packed the SKU myself, sent three cartons of that SKU, and only 25 will physically fit in to the carton. The -2 is of the other SKU is also incorrect because again I pack all these myself, and count them out of the cartons they come in on, process them, and count them into the cartons to go to Amazon.
I’m not particularly bothered about the missing -2 items, but I opened a case to investigate and Amazon are adamant that their count is correct even though I know it was wrong.
Before I shipped the SKU which they said had +15 units, it had been out of stock for a few weeks and therefore should be quite easy to see from inventory reports etc.
What is the best way to go about proving this to Amazon using inventory reports / sales reports etc?

Rules on Amazon
1 Amazon is always right
2 Amazon don’t make mistakes
If amazon aren’t right see rule 1…
Sometimes it sorts itself out over time as the items are moved around warehouses and the items are counted again - I had one shipment that had at one stage about +30 (they counted every item in that shipment with 1 extra, which like you is impossible because I buy my items in packs of 6, so I don’t send them 61… asides from the fact I only print out the exact labels I need) buy now its down to -1 (they’ve obviously lost one, which they do regularly)
How long has it been? You said you opened a case to investigate, do you mean you just went and opened a case? Or had the shipment become eligible for investigation and you done it the correct way through the shipment contents page?
