Large number of pending orders

We have seen a massive increase in the number of pending orders this week. Have other sellers has a similar issue.

Any ideas why this may be ?

We have seen a massive increase in the number of pending orders this week. Have other sellers has a similar issue.

Pending orders are normal and can remain in this state for weeks.

There is usually an issue with the buyer’s card as the order won’t go through without Amazon being able to place a hold on a sum corresponding to the order total. Or if it’s a FBA order, it could be Amazon processing it for longer than usual.

we had an order that was placed on July 12th. no stock being reserved and support has no clue; plus it cannot be cancelled. So will have to do the stock reconcile this week.

Beside that one… normal amount of pending.
