Repeated VAT Refund Issues - Need Higher-Level Intervention

I am facing an ongoing issue with VAT refunds for advertising fees on my Amazon seller account. Despite being VAT registered in the UK, I have been charged VAT on advertising services rendered in the USA. As a UK-based company, we are not obligated to pay VAT on these services. My repeated attempts to resolve this through Amazon support have been met with inadequate responses, and my case details are often ignored. The replies I get are simply copy/paste of the previous communication, completely ignoring the context and evidence that I keep providing them. There seems to be no well to resolve the matter - it is so frustrating.

Has anyone else faced a similar issue? How did you manage to get it resolved? Any advice or pointers to escalate this effectively within Amazon would be greatly appreciated.

being VAT registered in the UK

Did you put this UK VAT in your settings? If you put your VAT number in your seller account, Amazon USA will stop collecting this VAT and sending to the UK. At least - for Europe it's working like this.

IF that will not change your situation, you just file it in your VAT return like you put ANY VAT you may have paied.
