Compliance / DoC's / Document of Compliance / Product Compliance Requests

We’ve hit a massive brick wall with compliance requests. We’ve had 15+ of our products removed now. We have submitted everything correctly however keep getting automated rejection messages back asking for:

‘(a) Genuine product images showing: Name and EU address of importer, distributor or authorized representative (as applicable)’.

We have explained over and over again that:

1. The address we have provided matches the DoC’s and is on the products and packaging (submitted very clear, real world images from lots of different angles).

2. The address provided is in the UK.

3. We only sell in the UK. We don't sell anything to EU, only UK.

4. All of the products are only manufactured in England and sold in England, therefore are only available on the UK amazon marketplace.

We can’t seem to get through to anybody at amazon to resolve this issue, opened several cases, but nothing - we’ve been trying to resolve this now for 3+months. So incredibly disappointing. All listings have now been removed.

Does anybody have any advise on this? Anyone else experiencing the same?

Its probably due to the Northern Ireland position - for trade purposes it comes under both UK and EU jurisdiction rules.

The best option is to create a shipping template that excludes Northern Ireland and set your electrical items to use this shipping Template.

You can then resubmit your Appeal to Amazon to inform them that the ASINs in question will be sold in GB only and will never be exported to NI or the EU. In turn the ASINs now comply with the General Product Safety Regulations and Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016: Great Britain.

It is my understanding that because this ASIN can only ship from GB to GB all EU regulations and Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016: Northern Ireland are no longer applicable to the ASIN.

I hope this helps.
