Help with "Details Page Removed"
Hi all,
Our Amazon account is a little neglected and looking to get it sorted.
We currently have about 4500 listings active under our own ASIN, from the looks of it about 500 or so have an error "
Detail Page Removed" and despite it saying its active its not searchable and the link just 404s, loads of other products are in stock on our system but showing as out of stock on Amazon.
When we try to list a new product we also get an error on our software about our EAN number not matching the product (despite it not being on Amazon already.
I have a couple of ideas about what maybe wrong but just wanted to check if this is something Amazon does.
1: We are registered with Amazon Brand Protection, our protected brand is slightly differently worded to the brand we are listing the products under, could this be causing an error? its suspending my listings as its linked my trademark in the title or description but can see its a slightly different brand?
2: Our GS1 account is pretty bare, we own all of our GTINS but looking at the account they all have a new red status as none have product identifiers, does Amazon actively monitor this and prevent listings is the data on GS1 is different?
Assuming its one of the above and i correct the details in bulk will the self rectify?
I have tried speaking to Amazon about these but its very hard to get a response that details my issues.

Normally, the reason behind a listing’s inactivity has something to do with improper usage of trademarked terms.
If this is the case, you will need to edit the product detail page to ensure that the terms used do not lead to your product being confused with a different trademarked product.
Examples of unacceptable terms:
– “AmazonBasics speaker charging cable.” AmazonBasics is trademarked by Amazon.
– “Wireless Amazon speaker for laptop.” Amazon is trademarked by Amazon.
– “Cable similar to Pinzon.” Pinzon is trademarked by Amazon, and they prohibit the use of “similar to.”
Examples of acceptable terms:
– “Cable for charging AmazonBasics speaker.” The cable is not created or sold by Amazon.
– “Wireless speaker for laptop, compatible with AmazonBasics.” The speaker is not created by Amazon.
– “Basic cable works with Pinzon.” The cable is not sold or created by Pinzon.
Yes, they recently started monitoring the accuracy of the information and whether it matches your listing.

Yes this will cause an error … although not hide the page.
If the Brand name for the product page is not exactly like your Brand Registry name it will not fall in correctly and generate the GCID as it should.

This usually means that the brand you are listing the item as is restricted.
We do just fine with the red markers, we simply put product titles against each EAN, nothing more.
While this won’t directly show you which listings are affected it should help to identify which ones aren’t showing up in search results:
Go to reports -> business reports -> detail page sales and traffic -> it will list how many people are seeing and clicking your listings.
