How to create listing of a brand that I have not registered yet

Hi, I'm in the midst of producing a new product of a brand, let's say ABC, that is not on Amazon yet. I have the rights to sell in that category as i'm selling other products.

As Amazon has made many changes throughout the years, I would like to know in advance how to create a listing of brand ABC without being brand registered yet. Do I create a listing with brand ABC and expect to upload photos showing the brand on the product or packaging? Is that all to it?

Assume I know how to apply for GTIN Exemption. Does it mean creating a listing would be smooth? I'm just paranoid if there are other obstacles.

FYI I've already referred to this page which doesn't apply to my case.

Hi there @Seller_G7tIjxRtuxaQ0,

In general the best place to start is the Amazon Brand Name policy to review how Amazon determines if Brand is eligible to be used. It is best to ensure that you meet all the requirements to ensure you can list the product without issue. Once you get approval for your Brand Name you should be able to request a GTIN Exemption. Let me know if you run into any trouble.
