Deleting old skus

Hope everyone is getting through this very trying time. I trying to be useful and have decided to clean up my inventory and delete a lot of old out of stock litings. I used inventory loader with and SKU and an X in the delete colun but it didnt seem to delete them. Is there a second box that I need to tick if I want to actually remove the SKU altogether.
