Account Level Reserve
Hi guys,
All of my sales have for few days been building/going into my account lever reserves. Literally the full amount of daily sales goes directly to the reserves. I am getting 0 net proceeds everyday at the minute. I get the fact, that this is how Amazon operates, but it’s taking ages now to get any disbursements and obviously affect the cashflow. Does anyone who’s experienced this know how long this takes until some funds get released? I understand this could vary from case to case, but someone surely have experienced this. Also important to note, that my account is not under review. Any help on this would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I believe, its a week after the delivery is confirmed.
But I would suggest that once you start having available funds, you withdraw on a daily basis.
That way, the reserve shouldn’t effect you too much.
Here’s an example timeline:
- The customer places an order on January 1st
- You ship the order on January 2nd
- The customer receives the order on January 7th
- The funds from the sale are released to your account on January 14th
However, with new sellers, Amazon needs to build up the amount in the account level reserve — meaning payouts may be delayed four to six weeks after the first sale. New sellers should keep their expectations low when waiting to receive their first payout.

So here’s the thing I had a failed disbursement out of like 6 active ones, I have had active at the time.
I spoken to Amazon seller service and they said it was wrong bank details, which caused this one disbursement to fail. The odd thing is tho, the remaining 5 active disbursements gone through to that bank account with no issues.
It’s Revolut business, I have been using, but regardless of that. I then received this email:
Payments have been made into your Selling on Amazon payment account; however, we are unable to transfer funds from your account because we do not have your banking information on file.
All funds in your account can only be transferred to your bank account. We cannot send cheques, credit your credit card, or credit your buyer account at this time.
To enter your bank account information and receive your funds, do the following:
- Log in to your account and go to your account information page.
- In the Deposit Method section, click Add.
- Enter your bank account details and then click Submit.
Future payments will be transferred to this bank account. The transfer of funds should take 1 to 2 business days. Automatic fund transfers will occur as scheduled provided you update your information at least 3 days prior to the transfer.
Following that I have resubmitted my old Revolut business account which got verified and I was watching the account reserves/net proceeds for next 48 hours with no change whatsoever, all sales still going straight into reserves. I have this morning submitted a new bank account details, I opened yesterday and I am waiting for this bank account to get verified by Amazon. I think it might be bank account related.
