Cancelled Shipment by mistake and Only labelled Box not individual products
Good Evening All,
As you can see by the title i am new to amazon fba.
I received my products and created shipment plan and to send to amazon. Stupidly i only labelled the Box and not the products.
My products currently sit at UPS Site Tamworth and states Package held for future delivery, i realised my mistake of not labelling products so tried to cancel my shipment to return items but have been told you can not.
I am now worried i have items just sitting at UPS and no inbound shipment, is there a way around this ?
Will they still arrive at Fulfilment centre ?
Could i possible send and speak with UPS to print and add new label to box with amazon barcode service instead ?
Any help is very grateful.

You may be able to get your shipment back, but you would need to contact UPS direct as you can’t do it through Amazon.
You can’t change the label service once the shipment has been finalised.

I can not remember if they did tbh, i dont think they do, does this make a difference ? As at the moment there just sitting at UPS Tamworth, this would be so much easier if i could just get my 2 parcels returned as there just and Amazon fulfilment have not even scheduled a date yet if they do as say shipment is cancelled anyway so would be rejected.

You might also get in trouble as they’ll class as not prepped although for a first shipment they might not penalise you.
Do the two different colours have two different manufacturers barcodes or are they variations on the same one?

Now many items is it? If this were me, I would wait for it to become Stranded (this will show in your inventory page following delivery) and then request a removal order. You may be lucky and the barcodes possibly suffice but it will not solve the issue with the variation. Requesting a removal will cost and if you are new will put you into negative numbers but don’t let it put you off. It is part of the learning steps and there is plenty of them with FBA. Next time, don’t send all of your stock in no matter how tempting. I know it works out far cheaper per unit with UPS but it costs far more if you get issues down the line.

I would recommend waiting a few days to see what Amazon does with the inventory.
It’s very possible they will place 100 units onto the correct SKU and flag up the other 100 as “unexpected item”, at which point you can link these to the correct ASIN.
This is an ideal scenario as you wouldn’t have to have the items returned.
You can usually request that Amazon send photos of items that are in stock, do this for the 100 units that they already processed to check which colour they are, just indicate that you think you may have sent the wrong items but need to check.
There’s no need to create separate shipments, though you might want to do so to make it simpler for yourself to keep track of.
It should go without saying that each colour will have a different barcode, generally Amazon will not look at the product and will just go off of whatever the barcode says.
