Can somebody please help me with my Handmade application?

Hi all,
This is a long and boring one I’m afraid…
So I submitted my application for handmade on 7/6/23. It was rejected with no reasons given, just saying if I want to appeal to send an email to seller-handmade@amazon.co.uk.
This was done and I got a response quickly saying that they didn’t recognise the email address I’d sent it from, because Amazon is apparently the only company in the world that recognises a difference between gmail and googlemail. So quick settings change to revert my outgoing emails back to googlemail, surely this would be problem solved?

Nope.

So then I get the below response

Thank you for contacting Amazon. We understand how frustrating this is for you, therefore we will try our best to fix this for you.

We are unable to find the application case in UK marketplace for the current seller account.

This is because you have created the application case from the other seller account associated with the email address [xxxxxxxxx@googlemail.com] and Account name as Wood ‘n’ Pegs

So, I’ve only created one seller account, using one email address, there’s only one email address listed anywhere in my information. I’ve asked seller support for help soooo many times and kept getting the same response, being told to email handmade-appeal@amazon.com from the email address I applied from, which then goes round in a loop of them saying it’s from a different seller account etc

I can’t open a new application because this is ongoing and SURELY if there’s another seller account associated with my account I should be able to find details of it somewhere?!?! I’ve asked twice and been given nothing but the same canned response that might as well be AI.

I then get a response from seller support after their “investigation” saying:
We are glad to assist you with your concern.

We would like to inform you that there is a specialized team to investigate the appeals.

In this case, if you would like us to reconsider your application we request you to email the following information to handmade-appeal@amazon.co.uk from xxxxxxxxxx@googlemail.com.

Which is exactly what I’ve been doing for 2 weeks.

It’s now been 6 days since I did this AGAIN, 2 unanswered emails and I’m completely at my wits end with it all and so close to just giving up. I’d rather not stick with etsy but maybe that’s for the best as the help I’ve received from the support here so far with this is nothing short of appalling.

Anyone else been through this or similar and know a resolution? I’d love to sell through Amazon Handmade, I love that they actually ensure things are handmade unlike etsy that’s now just full of drop shippers etc, but as I say, I’m at my wits end now and will just be giving up soon.
