Funds withdrawal
Out of interest is there any other platform that hold on to funds for what seems like weeks. Sales are often 3 to 4 pounds and my funds are £400. occasionally larger sale. Seems one sided and all other platforms money goes to bank account to cover postage, new stock . Just wondered if they are unique . Asking for a friend. Aware of daily drawdown but when none are available for 2 days…

As far as I know eBay is the mosty generous in getting funds through to sellers. Other platforms tend to have 1 payment every 14 or 30-31 days (30 days seems very long but if you sell a lot in day 28 or 29 you still get it paid on day 32) and some others also only make funds available x days after delivery like Amazon.

Amazon is unique in lots of ways; some good and some not so good. I think Ebay has got the payments system pretty much spot on now (Amazon could learn a lot from this). You sell your items, the buyer pays, you get your money the next day.. That is how it should be.
We have always been able to disburse daily (if required) but it’s the five days to get to the bank which is incredibly backward in modern economics.
