Our store is new on Amazon, we have been selling for only 1 week and we sell via FBA method. However, this is the second time we have encountered a technical error. Our store suddenly loses its buybox eligibility.
For example, today we made 8 sales and suddenly we saw that we lost the buybox on the products. We have 58 active ASINs and all of these ASINs say: ''Currently, you're not eligible to be the Featured Offer for this product.''
I said that our store is new. Also, there is no account health error, we do not have any customer complaints, negative feedback, etc. that will negatively affect the buybox. Our buybox does not drop, it is completely removed.
This situation is terribly annoying for us, because it is the second time we have encountered it. The first one was fixed on its own. Even if this one is fixed on its own, we are worried that it will happen again.
We are waiting for help to solve the problem we are experiencing, it seems that this is not our mistake, it is a technical problem. We cannot sell in this situation, please help.

The buy box eligibility is determined by an Amazon algorithm, none of us know all the criteria involved, but it is not just based on price, as some people seem to think. Also, it is thought that it does rotate between sellers, so not always the same seller will have the buy box. In the past you had to have been trading for 90 days before being eligible, but I believe that might have changed, and maybe not for FBA sellers - I am not sure. Also, sometimes they look at track record, so if you are a very new seller (1 week) then you will not have built up a record. It will not be a technical error - Amazon know what they are doing when they award a buy box !!
We would recommend to check if your account is still active in the first place, as this can also happen when your account has be suspended
We are on day 4 and there is still no response from Amazon. The case I opened is still unanswered. Our buybox percentage in our store is ''0'' and it is not possible for us to sell normally.
Please, if it is not a situation you can solve, I kindly ask you to report the situation to the upper units that can deal with it.
We are also having this issue since last Saturday. 99 ASINs all not eligable for BB - 308+ account health and the account health team have sent an email confirming that our account is healthy.
After getting the standard buy box eligability crap from SS back, I asked to escalate to the technical teams as this is clearly their problem and not anything to do with our performance etc.
They are still investigating (they have updated the case to confirm they are still investigating).
Interestingly, one of the products is not BB eligable because the price exceeds the competitive amount - however Amazon have added on shipping cost to my base price even though this is an FBA product which they ship! They are also investigating this still. Sounds like a terrible mess - although we're losing money
Do you have the products listed on your website at a cheaper price? This is a surefire way of not ever getting the buy box. If the answer is yes, then change it to the same as Amazon, and you will most likley see an improvement as I did, when I had the same issue. Best of luck.
