Had the same happen to me, Amazon couldn’t care less about the seller.

If the customer has confirmed delivery, then how come it was stolen so quickly ?
Surely that is then a police matter ?

Doesn’t this depend where the item was left by the courier? If a courier left a package on my doorstep and someone ran off with it then as a buyer i’m going to want the seller to take responsibility for it.

I had one delivered by amazon, photo taken on top of my bin then parcel taken again by the driver, was instantly refunded. This was amazon’s own stock but I’d like to hope if it had been a seller it would’ve been amazon funded

If it was just left on a doorstep then surely the courier would be responsible for the cost. It is their responsibility to make sure it is delivered safely to the customer, or left in an allocated safe place. We are, almost, always in when we have Amazon deliveries but the amount of times we have found deliveries from them on the doorstep and nobody has even bothered to ring the bell is becoming more frequent.

I have had quite a few of these since no signing. Ive just opened a MCOL claim claim against the buyer for fraud/theft. 3 have paid up, the others have put in a defence. In line with the law of the UK you have fulfilled your legal responsibility. I am sick to the back teeth of people ripping me off. They get a LBA via Royal Mail signed for giving them 14 days in order to pay for the item they have received or a claim will be opened.

I’d be tempted to ask the buyer for the crime reference number as you have additional evidence you want to provide to the Police and surely they have already contacted the Police since they have been a victim of theft.

Then i’d state that the package in the video was not the one you sent and so are unable to take any further action relating to their order given RM have confirmed it was safely delivered. Since they have a video camera if they can provide the footage of the correct package being taken then of course you’d be more than happy to take action.

I find it odd there is a photo of culprit running away but not one of culprit arriving. Also I’ve zoomed in on the label is bottom half of your labels usually blank? If not some doctoring may have been done mine all have info at bottom of the label when booked with Royal Mail

I note everything on the page.

You need to get in touch with your RM Account Manager, and raise as a complaint, if that is not your parcel.

What service did you send by?

If you sent Tracked + Signed (or Special delivery) if a larger value item, then as no Signature (even of RM Postie), Then they cannot just leave on the doorstep. So, you can claim.

If tracked, or standard post, they can leave in a ‘safe place’ but a doorstep is not safe, and can be argued as such.

We put a label on our parcels to say leave with a person (so that would inc a neighbour, but not accepting a so-called safe place)

Sounds like a scam this. What was the value of your item?
