Shipping Settings Automation (SSA)

Can you easily switch back if you try Shipping Settings Automation (SSA) and don’t like it?

Of course. It’s a toggle button on each of your shipping templates. You can turn it on or off at your whim.

Sure, it is just a switch. I would suggest just creating a new template to try it out. Many sellers post that they absolutely hate it.

We use it on a couple templates so that we can show weekend delivery and that we ship on Saturday.

UPS delivers on Saturdays. FedEx Home Delivery works seven days a week to most/many addresses. Yes, you can ship UPS Ground on Saturday and have it move. Not sure why FedEx Ground/Home Delivery has not figured this out yet. They run the trucks. Why not pickup and move the packages.

Hello, Sellers. I have answers to the questions asked here about the "SSA Shipping Templates Auto-Upgrade."

First: sellers are selected based on a) your opportunity to set more accurate delivery dates, b) the number of warehouses you have, c) the number of shipping templates and ship methods you use.

If you are selected, you will be notified via email 14 days prior to the upgrade, and again on the day of the upgrade.

Second: To opt out of the upgrade go to the banner in your Shipping Settings page in Seller Central and follow the instructions to opt out. As @gardensoyvey wrote: the email also includes a link and instructions to opt out.
