Cannot add my Euro deposit account

I have subscribed to the Pan EU and have EU VAT numbers. There are some sales which are being generated via the EU, however, I cannot add my IBAN number successfully.

I have tried with two bank accounts which are capable to accepting euro payments - Lloyds and Starling.

I keep getting the error message “Bank account details are not valid for the country selected by you.”

I don’t quite understand the issue, and support appear to be pointing me to a verification process, which I completed a few months ago, but that was for a GBP account. Can anyone advise on how they proceeded with the above error message and the action that worked to get a deposit method added successfully?

Thanks

Not 100% sure, but I don’t believe that you can use a UK currency account for payments.
You can use a standard UK account and Amazon will convert payments to GBP for you.
Or alternatively, you can use a PSP instead.
Obviously an account in the country concerned will work as well.

Right, I don’t mind it being converted to euros as the sales volumes aren’t that significant, but as I’m VAT registered in the respect EU states, and if there is VAT to pay wouldn’t it be billed in euros (which would then mean I’d need to get a euro account of some description to pay the VAT bills)?
