B2B shipments to EU - constant issues with lack of recipient EORI

Is anyone else shipping B2B to the EU?

I'm getting regular issues with the parcels being stopped at customs and a request coming back for the customer's EORI number.

I'm shipping using our own UK + EU EORI but the request is specifically for the customer's EORI, they do not accept our own.

Amazon provides the customers VAT number, which I can find in the invoice on the order AFTER the item has shipped, but never an EORI.

I email the customers to ask but rarely get a reply.. These parcels end up getting returned..

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Thank you so much for posting this as I am having a complete and utter nightmare with this. Today I have received negative feedback from a B2B buyer stating "did not receive". I messaged continually asking for an EORI number only for them to come back to me and say they did not have one! How can this be my fault?

I raised the issue with my Amazon Account Manager but she did not understand the issue as she is based in India. Nobody from Amazon seems to understand that it is ILLEGAL to export and import without an EORI number. She told me to switch off "Business buyers" which I did but the B2B orders still kept coming and it is not possible to switch off B2B in Europe but keep B2B in UK open.

I have even had an A-Z go against me for the same reason.

Feel like I am banging my head against a brick wall - it is costing me a fortune and my reputation.

@Julie_Amzn please can this be investigated urgently.

@Seller_dLMznl0ux2sPB and @Seller_lcEFNe4t76lA1, I understand that the blocker you face with B2B transactions is that buyers often don't respond to your requests for their EORI number. The ideal solution would be to obtain the EORI number along with the B2B order, correct?
