Read onlyI no longer sell on Amazon and have not used it for nearly two years. When I ceased selling I removed all of my listings and researched how to close my seller account. However the answers I got at the time was that as the same log in credentials are used for my Prime account, closing the seller account would also close my Prime account.
I have just chatted with Amazon Seller Support Team and the Team rep said that it would not affect my Prime account. However I did not tell him they were the same login credentials and I don't have faith in his response.
Can anyone advise if the two account types are now completely seperate or am i still in the same situation?
Also can you change the login credentials i.e. email address and password for the seller account and still retain access to the prime account with the original credentials.
