Any luck with access to PII (personal identifiable information)?

Looking for a way to retrieve custom order data(link) and Buy Amazon Labels over SP API. We have to be able to do both for our workflows. Amazon denied our access to PII part of SP API as we “didn’t offer substantially different functionality”

We only do on demand online edits for customer orders and auto place them on jigs for any printers without rasterizing. And connect those orders to shipping labels… (Super important for flat bed printers). We are getting ready to launch apps for other marketplaces and Shopify…
Not sure but I don’t believe anyone is doing anything remotely close to this.

Thought we could do it over ShipStation. They do have Amazon Buy Labels integration but not over API… Took us 5 month and multiple tickets for them to admit it. They also still using MWS access… And not planning on expending their custom orders functionality…

We can also get the customer data links over order reports. But not sure if that will stay. Then what was the point of obscuring this from the order data over API ?

We still have access to the MWS though they threatened us twice over the last 3 months that we will not have access to PII in 24 hours… So far we have it but that will disappear sooner or later.

I was granted PII access to create an in-house order processing component to connect to proprietary (and incredibly antiquated) software.

Amazon requested I make multiple changes to the way I save, transfer, and store data. I had to send in several appeals/requests, each time making changes to the process for additional security.

I’d say try re-wording WHY you need PII access, and go into further detail to explain why other solutions won’t work.
