Suspected Intellectual Property Violations

Looks like those “superminds” who killed the dashboard page invented a new mechanism to eliminate more legitimate sellers from amazon. Our products are getting removed for property violations one after another each day now. SS can’t properly explain what is going on, telling us different reasons each time. Does anyone else experience the same misbehaviour?

Hi not had any issues but as long as you can demonstrate supply chain to manufacturer process and evidence you should be able to defend any issues.

We had several products blocked on Amazon Italy because the title contained the word “Valentino”. These were Valentine’s Day products. Valentine, translated into Italian is Valentino.

With “suspected Intellectual property violations” they will always tell you what the problem is. We removed the the word “Valentino” from the titles and the listings became active again.

Ironically we had used Amazon’s own translation service when these listings were created years before they got blocked, out of the blue.

Yes, this is happening to lots of sellers. Other threads on here. SS are no good at all, they seem to not understand anything about online retail, IP etc. Best you can do is keep fighting them but you’ll get nowhere.

It’s been said, but if it is your own BRAND causing the ‘suspected IP’ flag, make sure you have a GS1 issued EAN/barcode.
I’ve seen some ASIN where BRAND/MANUFACTURER is correct, get suppressed, until we duplicated the ASIN, used a new EAN and then merged the two together.

PS: Merges are a nightmare now, in my experience, they will only go through if the new ‘merge/split’ tool (web page) works.

Hello yes, the same thing happens with our account and it stopped the account every 2 months for 1.5 years.

Amazon shows no evidence in this process and tries not to accept invoices that it has accepted 2-3 times before for no reason.

I believe you personally control Amazon sellers

I don’t think Amazon’s top executives at Headquarters were aware of these issues, but now I’m going to forward these cases to senior officials at Amazon headquarters.

We are constantly investing and spending money, but Amazon stops the account without showing any evidence, as if they were making fun of the sellers.

However, we will forward these issues to our close friends to the American Senate.
