Amazon using "United Kingdom - Excluding Channel Islands" in shipping address so Click and Drop wont print a CN22
Royal Mail click and Drop are not picking up the need for a CN22 form due to Amazon showing customers in the Channel Islands as United Kingdom
Any suggestions how to get Amazon to show sales to the channel Islands as "Channel Islands" so the correct cn22 is generated?
Is there a work around or should we just not bother with a CN22 declaration?

Amazon are aware of this and are working on it. I have had a case open for months.
What we do is create an order in Click & drop to get the CN22, print this out then cancel the order and use Buy Shipping through Amazon. Not having a CN22 will cause a problem.

The Post Office web site has a form you can fill in to create CN22s & print off, in the meantime - www postoffice co uk/icdc/?#/ (use full stops instead of spaces).
Though just seen that may not create a printable version. If not, there is a link somewhere as I've used it before.
I sometimes create my own now, for various reasons - I made a template in Pages.

You can just edit the address in Click and Drop changing United Kingdom to the correct Channel Islands. The CN22 then comes off with the order.
I think Royal Mail are just as much to blame for this as Amazon. They know from the postcode where the order is going so could still produce a CN22 when the postcode matches the channel islands.

Yes - Ive had a case open for months too. Mine complaining when using Buy Shipping though that the CN22 was not generated (and presumably the HN Codes not electronically sent - are these needed for Channel Islands?). Every week I will get a response saying they are working on it.
When I put through C&D I get 2 labels - postal and CN22. I thought the problem may be that Amazon Buy Shipping was only retrieving the postal label and were ignoring the extra CN22 label. However, I now see in C&D it is possible to produce 1 combined label containing the postal and CN22 info. This may be the workaround.
Now just got to get C&D to recognise a Channel Islands postcode...

At the Post Office parcels to the Channel Islands are not flagged up as needing CN22's either - maybe it's a rule that's never enforced - I've inadvertently sent several orders to the CH without the CN22 and have never had a problem -

Maybe just get a roll of CN22 stickers from the post office and then if you ever need to and write one you are good.

It's like this with eBay orders through Click and Drop too.
It's probably just that Royal Mail don't know which postcodes are Channel Islands. Oh, wait....
