Urgent: Need Escalation Contacts or Guidance for Grocery Category Approval
Hello Sellers,
We are facing an ongoing issue with Amazon restricting our ability to sell in the Grocery category, despite having a strong account health record and all necessary documentation in place. Several of our best-selling products, including our #6 ranked Sesame Oil, have been deactivated without prior notice or clear reasoning.
Despite multiple support cases and escalations to Amazon Leadership, the responses remain generic and non-actionable, citing vague reasons such as "supply chain authenticity risks" or "account metrics" issues without specifying what needs to be corrected.
Our Key Concerns:
✅ No Clear Path to Approval: We have 20+ SKUs ready to list in the Grocery category with Product registration documents and another 30+ SKUs ready for import, yet we are unable to proceed.
✅ Lack of Transparency: We have not received any detailed explanation regarding the specific criteria we do not meet.
✅ Competitive Disadvantage: Other sellers in the same category continue to sell similar products without restriction.
What We Need from the Community:
🔹 Escalation Contacts: If anyone has had success reaching higher authorities or specialized teams for Grocery category approval, could you share relevant email contacts or processes?
🔹 Approval Process Insights: If you have recently received approval to sell in Grocery, what specific steps or documents were required?
🔹 Effective Escalation Strategies: What has worked in getting Amazon to provide a clear response regarding category approvals?
We appreciate any guidance from sellers who have successfully navigated this process. Your insights will help not only us but many others facing similar roadblocks.
Thanks in advance for your support!
