Please Help! Opened new seller account, immediately suspended but Japan and Eu are charging me?

I’m so confused and freaking out. I opened a seller account and it made me fill out my contact info for UK and Japan before moving to the next step in enrollment. Once amazon signed me up and charged me $39.99, they suspended my account. It’s under review but I have no idea why. Now, to make matters worse, I received amazon Europe and Japan saying my credit card was charged! What?? Japan’s said 4900 and eu is 25. I have no idea what’s going on but I looked and those charges are real under my seller account. I’ve never even got the chance to list one product and now being hit with multiple fees. This is my worst experience ever. I’ve tried contacting seller central but I only get a note at the top of the page saying they’re only allowed to answer questions about my suspended account. Please tell me how to get help, there’s no phone number. Thanks

You cannot contact the verification dept by phone. All new sellers are automatically suspended until passed verification (can be weeks). You gave signed up for the Professional fee charging accounts instead of the free individual account. Go into Settings- your services- and downgrade from the Pro account to Individual. Do this for both EU and the Japan marketplaces. This stops further monthly payments being charged.once you have passed verification and provided you have NO sales you can politely ask for a refund due to signing up to the wrong account in error?

Why start with both EU and Japan marketplaces? Hopefully you have not opened 2 accounts as this is NOT allowed.

Hi
You signed up here

When you should have been signing here

Firstly If paying fees, downgrade and set them to Individual then apply vacation settings to make the marketplaces inactive.

I would then click on get support here and also remove the global link.

Good luck

Hey. I have almost the same problem, but somehow I didn’t realize I had enrolled for global selling untill I got my 2000 products in US warehouses. I think my accounts in Europe and Japan weren’t Proffessional Sellers Accounts untill they suspended my accounts untill I pass the document verification in Europe and Japan too.
Somehow this wasn’t an issue untill I started selling. What trigured those two accounts to be opened? Do you think someone in Japan and someone in Germany might have wanted to order one and Amazon decided it’s time to start charging me as a proffessional seller there too? Or my account got hacked? I don’t know.
Please help

But then again,

"Register and Launch with Amazon Global Selling

  • Single sign-on
  • Setting up your Amazon Global Selling Account
  • Registration Requirements by Marketplace"
meaning you do need to fill out a refistration application in each of these and I am sure I have not. Also when I contacted UK seller support, they told me the account was created “TODAY” and I was in bed at the time it was created too.

Thanks, @Adrian. Where do I find and disable global sign up to prevent it signing me up to all the other places?
