How long dose it take for my PPC changes to appear in the search?

Hi

I am a bit confused… as on YouTube there are so many different opinions regarding to how long dose it take for my PPC changes/optimization to appear in the search
some say “in real time” some claim it takes couple of hours and some say, at least few days
so?
what is the real answer?
assuming I make changes at 08:00 am, like adding more key words or changing bid prices.
how long it takes to be active and show me results of my actions?
