3 ASIN Suspension, need help for a newbie ^^

Hi everyone!

My account has been open for about 3 months now but I recently started selling, and yesterday I had an e-mail from Amazon stating that my account has been deactivated because I was offering items that may be inauthentic.

The thing is, I’m doing dropshipping and I find my products with a software that eliminates products that I can’t sell like trademarked or patented products, etc. Nevertheless I always check the products one by one before listing, to be sure that they are some real products that have reviews (I check for any complaints in order not to get same problems with my selling) and I check if they are fulfilled by Amazon. My inventory quantity is checked and corrected every 30 minutes for all products to be sure that I can supply a product when I get a sale. In brief, I don’t blindly trust a software to do everything and do my best to ensure a safe online shopping environment.

I understand that Amazon needs to be sure that customers can shop with confidence and I’m also acknowledging it. However, the problem is that -as you can guess- I first get a sale then I buy from the relevant supplier so I don’t have invoice of the product prior to my sale. But, I need to upload documents to reactivate my account.

My questions are: How can I solve this problem? Since my business model is dropshipping, would explaining why I don’t have invoices prior to a sale be a sufficient way to resolve the issue? Do I need a POA right away or should I just explain why I don’t have invoices?

I thank you all in advance and I’m very inspired to work with Amazon, so I hope I can handle this smoothly. Have a great day!

Ps1: The original e-mail is attached and ASIN 1 and ASIN 2 are the same products but only different variations (if it makes any difference).
Ps2: I’ve never sold the products listed in the original e-mail.

You will need to submit a plan of action stating that you don’t have invoices as you drop ship.
Unfortunately though the chances of being reinstated are extremely low.
Most new sellers on Amazon will be required within the first few weeks to submit invoices for their products so that Amazon can check the authenticity of products being sold on their website - no invoices - no selling !
Whilst drop shipping is allowed under certain circumstances, it is usually where you use a registered ‘drop Shipping’ supplier. Purchasing from another seller, even if they do sell via FBA is not reliable.
It is definitely not a good business model and I would look into sourcing and purchasing your own products to sell directly in the future.

To be fair, if you are dropshipping, you don’t actually know 100% certain if your orders are actually being shipped at all, or if your customers are getting anything from an empty envelope or a brick for all you know. It could all be legit, but since you have no knowledge or control over the process.

In fact, a lightbulb has just gone off over my head, thinking about the orders I have got from renowned dishonest dropshppers, and why I have been so diligent in fulfilling the order correctly. For us books, music and media sellers, suddenly I see a whole new way of dealing with certain folks orders …:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Hello @ HakanD,

I understand that you are using drop shipping services. Even if you are procuring the products from a drop shipper. It is mandatory that you ask for the invoices to understand the authenticity of the products which are being procured from your supplier.

For now, request invoices from your respective drop shipper as its a mandatory check for products to be verified as authentic.

If you do not have the invoices. Kindly delete the listings completely from your inventory and send a strong plan of action only. Mention the three parts which are as follows:-

– Root cause- What is the issues , why invoices are not present ?
– Corrective measure- How will you correct the issue, i.e will you go ahead and delete the listings in your scenario.
–Preventive measures- How will you ensure that the issue will not occur in the future. Will you procure future invoices from your drop shipper.

Kindly mention these point and send it to the respective team to get your account reactivated.

Thanks and regards,
Harleen

Do you include documentation that identifies you as the seller. IE a packing list with your details on it?

Hi your idea for using that kind of software is good but in my opinion not suited to Amazon more the likes of a well known auction site.
You need to ensure things are done right on Amazon and should probably find a competitive dropshippers and deal with them direct.
