Changing a product attribute - dead end

I can’t cope with the Crap responses from seller support any more. I’m trying to change a size attribute on a child ASIN. The size attribute is the variation - I have a 4 pack and a 10 pack of the same product but Amazon has changed the 4 pack to read “10 count- 1 pack”

After much sending of evidence I finally have this:

“The attribute you have requested updates on has already been claimed by another representative of the brand the ASIN is currently listed under. We are unable to make updates per your request; instead, we recommend that you reach out to the account of the winning contributor in order to agree on the changes. Once you both brand representatives conclude on the new values, the other account can make the necessary updates via Seller Central.”

I am the ONLY representative of this brand. This is my product listed on my website and on Amazon. I designed it, I shipped it to Amazon. No one else sells it.

You are not alone, I had variants on one listing and automatically all the child variants got separated. The sizes were changed from a value to 1 count (pack of 1). It may not be an issue for sellers with one item in listing but listing with variations might be in trouble. Also, manufacturer name changed and product key attributes shows error (size/colour) l!! I went through similar pain in sending all the documents/invoices/manufacturer website. Now they have updated the manufacturer name but I still have issues with product key attributes (size/colour). My listing shows no product features/description.

At the end support said "It appears the detail page associated with this ASIN is controlled by the brand owner. Any product-related information must be approved by them. We’ve sent the changes you requested to the brand owner for consideration. However, please note that they’re under no obligation to make these changes. There is no further action required on your part at this time.

If you do not own this brand but still want to make changes, the brand owner can choose to assign you a role for this brand. This will give you the ability to make catalogue changes on the brand’s behalf."

Well in this case, manufacturer is the brand owner and they havent enrolled on Amazon. There is no way to figure out who is that fictitious brand owner on amazon!!!

Really appreciate if anyone share their thoughts on successfully amending the key attributes.
