I have received mail from Amazon that I have incorrectly selected as "individual" legal entity in place of sole proprietorship due which my selling privileges may be temporarily suspended.
But when I went in Account Info and tried to change my legal entity than I did not find any option for sole proprietorship. Now how can I change my legal entity?
I am attaching the screenshot for your reference.
Thank you
Not sure where you are based /live, but if in UK you MUST be registered as self-employed sole trader with HMRC, and then once you have received your UTR you need to open a case with Seller support and ask them to open up the option to input your UTR and change your legal entity.
Individual entity is ONLY for selling off your own personal second-hand items (eg. books DVDs,CDs etc), is not the same as sole-trader.
(oops, ignore above !, I have just noticed from your screenshot that your place of establishment is India - i would assume that it would be 'privately owned business', but please do not take my word for it, and you cannot have an individual account if not in UK.
Hopefully you are also aware that if you wish to store your items in UK for FBA that you need to be VAT registered here.
Hello @Seller_SX2w8xOVJrcrd,
This is Sakura from Amazon. Welcome to the Seller Forums.
I have reached out the relevant Partner Team to clarify your doubt.

@Seller_SX2w8xOVJrcrd,
The Partner Team that I contacted before let me know that you are no longer required to select the business type, but you need to upload supportive documents.
Please review your Account Information Dashboard to understand what kind of documents you need to upload.
Navigate to: Account Info >Business Information >Identity Information
Could you please confirm with me if you found all the information?
Sakura
Also, I have contacted the same Team again to understand which type of business presented on your screenshot would correspond to sole proprietorship.
I will keep you updated.

Sakura
Hello @Seller_SX2w8xOVJrcrd,
I am coming back with the information shared by the Partner Team.
If your business is located in India, you would need to choose a privately owned business type in Seller Central. Sellers outside of the EU and UK will not have sole proprietorship as an option for the business type.
I hope it clarifies your doubts!

Sakura
