Thank you note to customer

Can we include thank you note in the packaging? I know about the reviews.

If we cant include a loose note what about printed message on a box of brand product?

Yes, but it will depend very much on what the note actually says.

I buy “thank you for your purchase” stickers and put them on the packing slip. They don’t have anything else on them than that

I do both FBA and FBM and all my products have an A6 leaflet telling a little about the product and a bit about the company. I also say if you liked our product please leave a review. I have no other website details on it, so it does not look as if I am trying to move purchasers away from Amazon. Amazon have seen them and not said anything so i continue to do it.

Settings>Fulfilment by Amazon>Multi-Channel Fulfilment Settings>Packing Slip - Text.
For FBA Amazon put the thank note in for you if you tell them what to put.

I personaly don’t think it’s worth doing anything more that sending the goods out. As a buyer, I get emails from Amazon asking me to give seller feedback and product reviews all of the time, so I assume other sellers do as well. I would also add that feedback seems to run at about 0.01%, so most buyers don’t bother. I’m always being asked to leave a review, even after just contating a retail seller about something, it gets a bit monotomus.

Personally I don’t buy on Amazon these days unless (and this is very rare) I can’t get what I want elsewhere at the same price. I’d actually pay slightly more rather than use Amazon. Very occasionally and I think this is largely down to auto reprice software in a race to the bottom I will pick up an under-priced item on here. I do have some stuff listed for sale but haven’t had one in so many months, on ebay sales tick along well enough.

As to leaving or receiving notes. I never read them. If I’m happy the seller gets good feedback regardless of any note. If I’m really unhappy I’ll contact the seller and only leave FB if seller ignores or is being an arse. I never include notes but I’m getting a good number of buyers on ebay leaving good FB. I don’t even bother inc an invoice, in the rare occasion someone then asks for one I send them an electronic one but that’s happened twice/three times over many hundreds if not over a thousand items sold since 2003.

In summary I wouldn’t bother with notes asking for FB. Either your buyer won’t care or you’ll get FB anyway. A thank you for you purchase is nice I suppose. But beyond that don’t bother.

That’s all my opinion which may differ to others.

I have included the following note with my orders -
“Thank you for your order, it is much appreciated. Should you have any problems with your purchase please contact me before leaving any negative/neutral feedback & I assure you I will deal with the matter as quckly & efficiently as possible. Any positive feedback would be greatly appreciated.”
I don’t know where I stand with this as I’m not actually asking directly for feedback.

I enclose the Packing slip which I print from Order details. It said, “To provide feedback for the seller please visit www.amazon.co.uk/feedback”. I think you can’t ask a positive review. I think you can ask for a review but can’t leave your email address.
