Read onlyMy question is based around the charging of Marketplace facilitator VAT for my company which is based in Northern Ireland.
I realise that I can stop international shipping of my product and turn this off but I would like to offer this service to my customers if possible as they are geographically closer to me than the rest of UK customers in some cases.
As Northern Ireland is part of the EU for VAT purposes, should amazon be charging this fee to Northern Ireland Based Sellers? The Windsor framework has been implicated specifically in Northern Ireland to ensure it is not treated the same as the rest of the UK so as i see it the marketplace facilitator VAT should not be applied.
I will contact Amazon Separately on this but keen to hear any thoughts or discussions anyone has had about this already.
