Problems creating inventory?

Hi there,

New seller here so be gentle.

Trying to list an item that exists on amazon. It’s in a restricted category but we’ve done all the authorisation and have permission to sell.

So, I go to add new product, enter ASIN to make sure I have the right product. CLick sell this product.

Takes me to the offers page. I enter the details it’s asking for.

I’ve tried entering my own SKU and even leaving it blank for Amazon to create one.

Then I get to Choose Barcode Type page where it’s showing the product with my Merchant SKU. ONly option here is to click Save and Continue. I don’t want to tick “Mark for Removal” do I?

It then takes me straight to the Send to Amazon page.

Product is showing with the SKU I created and ASIN etc etc. Say’s there’s an error with the Packing details. When I click on edit or even create packing details I get the error:

“The SKU for this item is unknown or cannot be found.”

And this is where I then get stuck. It’s been like this for 2 days now. No matter what product I try to add, I’ve tried like 5 now.

I’ve given it time like I’ve read on here,

I’ve tried different browsers

I’ve tried wearing different socks on different feet!

I’ve even tried added a product and saying that we will fulfil the orders then hoping to change toe FBA later.

Nada! There’s nothing showing in my inventory, nor can I get past that page!

Tried raising a log and they just send me links to the guides etc etc.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!

its a known error at the moment
instead, add your offer as a fulfilled by merchant offer then wait 10-15 minutes and go back into your inventory and tick the item and from the drop down select convert to FBA

Glad I saw this thread. Been wasting my time for 20 minutes trying to add FBA stock. Why oh why is there no notice on Seller Central detailing this issue. It is really poor service not to tell sellers when there is an issue like this.
