Descriptions not visible on Amazon page

Hello,
for some of our listings the description is not visible at all. The section “Product description” is completely missing.

We can see the description in Edit of the listing and the description is also pretty much the same as in other listings where it IS visible, except some numbers.

We discussed this with support, they finally did “something” and the description appeared. They adamantly refused to tell us what they did and how to fix this on our own.

I tried deleting the listing and re-creating it, but it didn’t help

Also - what’s worse is that we have LOTS of listings and we have no idea how to detect which are affected.

Would anyone have any idea how to detect and fix this?

There is no way for you to fix is- I’ve spend the last 2 weeks attempting to fix it my end. Like you, support did somehow fix one of my listings, but when you have 100s of listings, that’s a drop in the ocean.

Keep opening cases/ reopening them until you get an answer. Support do not know what they’re doing, but eventually you might come across a member of staff who is competent and able to fix this.

I’m having exactly the same problem - most of my products’ descriptions (and bullet points) are missing on the live listings, but appear in the ‘edit’ section. I’ve spent a couple of days trying to get some sense out of amazon support, but just getting some useless instructions that make no sense except to imply that it’s something that I’ve done wrong.
It appears to be directly affecting sales as well.
Finally, - I also started a thread on this, but it too seems to have disappeared.
