UK Establishment for VAT
Dear All, we have been going back and forth to prove our UK establishment for months now. We have submitted all the required documents to the dot and exactly according to what is required.
Last outstanding document was:
-- Evidence that you are physically operating your business from your provided address.One of the following:
• A recent UK council tax bill or business rates of the current year, addressed to the company or a director or partner of the company; or
• A recent utility bill dated within 180 days addressed to the company or the director or partner of the company. We do not accept mobile phone bills; or
• If you are using a shared working space, you can provide either a recent licence agreement or copies of invoices/proof for payment of rent. The document must be in the name of the company or partnership or the director or partner, with the shared working space provider, for a period of 6 months or longer.
We submitted the shared working space invoice for 6 months or longer and then Amazon came back to us saying that now they also need a utility bill in addition the shared working space invoice. But obviously if we are using a shared working space, we don't have a utility bill. This is pure non sense and it clearly says we should submit 1 of the documents. This is the same as the HMRC website.
What more do they want? We adhered to the requirements and we even called HMRC and they said that we are UK established in their systems and Amazon has the legal obligation to consider us as being UK established in their systems as well.
@Ezra_Amazon @Julia_Amazon @Sakura_Amazon_ @Sarah_Amzn @Simon_Amazon @Spencer_Amazon @Winston_Amazon can you please help?

If you aren't getting anywhere with amazon - you should also air your grievances as many had to earlier this year with the Small Business Comissioner - see link below
