EPR registration for Germany - Rejected repeatedly with no detailed explanation

EPR registration for Germany - Rejected repeatedly with no detailed explanation

I completed my EPR registration and added the number to Amazon, which has been repeatedly rejected and the reason given “The reason for rejection is: The VAT or business ID and the legal name associated with this registration number do not match the information provided to Amazon.”

I am not VAT registered
I am a Sole Trader and not a Company so no business ID other than my name
legal name I used my First and Last Name

I do not find a list on Amazon providing the requirements of what data on Amazon should be used to match the data on the EPR registration

My name is the same on Amazon and the EPR registration
My address is the same on Amazon and the EPR registration

Asking Amazon support has proved to be useless and not helpful
I was told to make a change to the format of my name from First and Last Name to Initial and Last name, which I did - rejected again
I was then told to use my Display name rather than my name - rejected again

Ask Amazon support again - no solution
Ask Amazon where there is a list of requirements as to what data on Amazon should be on the EPR registration - no information provided

Have tried messages and phoning Amazon Support - it appears that Amazon Support has no more idea than I do as to what the Approval Team for EPR Registration are trying to match and expect to match

After three rejections and now two weeks with deactivated listings for Germany I am losing any confidence that I had in relying on Amazon as a reliable Marketplace for sales. Certainly Seller Support are not able to explain why the EPR Registration is rejected and the EPR Team do not explain either

I think there have been several posts/threads about this issue for sole-traders.
If I recall correctly someone suggested try inputting your UTR if not VAT registered - though cannot say.
Try searching the forum - you will find other posts re. this.

Thank you for the reply and suggestion - I have now tried what Callan did and now await the result

All details on Amazon and the EPR registration match but I will not hold my breath - common sense does not appear to be a strong point of Amazon Support based on the incorrect information that I have been given by them

It’s all about the Detailed Seller Information section that doesn’t show for Sole Traders. You have to open a separate case telling Amazon there is a fault on the German storefront and the Detailed Seller Information is not showing. Don’t mention EPR. Just tell them there is a fault and see how they respond. Mark it as urgent and affecting your business.

It’s just unbelievable that they send a generic reply that has absolutely nothing to do with the issue. Amazon has a serious problem with their customer support.
