Does Amazon provide proof for VAT payment on my behalf

Hi, I have recently been informed because I am not EU established I have to pay my VAT for all sales from 2021.

I am willing to pay the amount, but in order to get the money back because we already paid the VAT towards the german authorities, my accountant tells me I need proof from Amazon that they paid the amount on my behalf.

I mention I only sell on the german martketplace, can anyone provide some information here?
