Unable to send Germany FBA -UPS partner carrier

Hi

I want to ask I am unable to send a carton/box (small parcel delivery) unless it’s a pallet for FBA germany from here in the UK? is this due to Brexit? it does allow you to send via other carriers but at an astronomical fee.

Will the option to click the UPS-partner carrier be available again? if so when?

Anyone know when this service will resume? UPS have said their service is back running as normal directly with them.

Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,

I understand that you have an issue regarding Shipment ID when trying to select Amazon-Partnered Carrier for UPS and DHL and the options are greyed out and not available.

I have investigated this issue and have submitted a request to our specialist team, to investigate further on your behalf.

We will update you as soon as we have a response from the team.

Thank you for selling with Amazon.

I’ve received this type of response for days now Paul. They either reply with some nonsense or don’t reply at all

Any idea why UPS they want 3 copies of power of attorney too with each shipment?

I would expect Amazon to reinstate the partnered carrier service at some point, because not having it is clearly a disaster for the thousands of small sellers who rely on it. Their software guys and UPS need to devise a means of customs-clearing consignments on our behalf - that is the obvious answer to the issue and I would assume they are working on it.

Despite the cut-to-the-bone prices, I would guess UPS make a huge amount of money from the PCS and they’ll be keen, I am sure, to get something workable in place ASAP.

On a personal level I’ve been told I won’t receive my European EORI for a few weeks and so I can’t make FBA shipments anyway. I’m hoping Amazon will get this sorted in the meantime.

Does anybody know who actually needs to have the details of the EU EORI Number, and whether there’s anything else UPS need to know? We have the UK Number and the EU Number, but I don’t know who actually needs to have this information?
I’m on board with the 3 x Commercial Invoice, and 3 x Power of Attorney - but don’t know if UPS need to have anything more than they’ve always had to collect our UK to UK Consignments? We just have a basic account set up with them, but is it now as simple (obviously with the paperwork mentioned above) as just requesting the collection as previous? I’ve read through everything on the Amazon side, but wanted to double check.
