Anyone else experiencing shipping delays to EU countries since 1st July?

Since 1st of July we have experienced a tremendous amount of complaints of non-delivery from customers in EU countries, I’m assuming that since the change in VAT in Europe the customs stickers on envelopes are being scrutinised more closely causing delays. We’ve recently had several customers who should have had their items delivered two weeks ago and are still waiting. I think that Amazon should considered extending the ‘expected delivery date’ they give to customers to allow for the delays that are occurring at custom offices throughout Europe, or am I the only one having these problems?
