Shipping from Northern Ireland
Hi, I am new to selling on Amazon but am brand registered and have recently listed a product for sale and am posting any sales myself. I am based in Northern Ireland - could anyone advise the nearest FBA centre to Northern Ireland if we wanted to go down this route? Do FBA products sell better in your experience? thanks for any feedback.

You don’t choose which fba warehouse the goods go to- amazon does
They then distribute them all over the UK
Have you read sellers university pages ?

You don’t choose your FBA centre, often my items go to Coventry and then Amazon move them around different warehouses as they see fit.
We use UPS to send to FBA, which is dearer than mainland customers, currently costs me about £7 + Vat for a 20kg box.
Note that currently we can’t get items returned to us from FBA, so once its there if it doesn’t sell you’ll have to either destroy it or get it sent to a 3rd party on mainland then forwarded onto you (hoping this will change if/when the NI protocol over Brexit etc gets sorted out)

There isn’t one, I’m afraid. You need to send to UK or countries in EU. Ireland is probable in the future as a distribution depot has recently opened. But in any case, you can’t choose where you send them, Amazon tells you.
Yes, they do.

There actually is at least one - in Belfast, possibly more.
EU selling does not apply unless you plan to export to Southern Ireland or some other non UK place, in which case yes you’ll need to look into requirements etc. But to keep your stock in the UK its fine.

The OP is in Northern Ireland and has never mentioned selling to EU.
The whole EU thing seems to be a mix up from 0-0

Generally, the answer is probably yes. But it does depend on what the product is and how costs compare etc.
That is a far more problematic question, as it depends very much on the product and sell through rate etc. You could find that postage is cheaper and that your able to price a little higher than FBM.
But the only real way to find out, is to test it out.
Send a small quantity and see how it goes. Do work out the costs first though!

if you send your stock to FBA in Europe you will need to register for VAT for sure in whatever country you send the stock to. you can also do the EFN option but you will need to price your items accordingly as the chunk they take from it with EFN is huge compared to FBA in the UK.
