I am selling on Amazon over 10 years and I recently spotted a issue about the referral fee charges.

Some of the products I listed a long time ago and put them in the correct category (Home & Kitchen - 15%) have started getting charged Jewellery category fee - 20%. I haven't changed anything and interestingly these products are still in the Home & Kitchen category however the referral fee charge showing Jewellery ctaegory. I've attached two pictures to show details. I created a case and attached relevant spreadsheets and pictures but the response I am getting from Amazon is not helpful at all despite me explaining the issue with all the proof.

I just wanted to find out that if anybody had this issue too and did you be able to solve the issue?

We sell badges, mainly birthday badges.

Over time Amazon has put them in Clothing accessories, Home & Garden, but mainly Toys & Games. Today we get an email advising that 50 of our listings are moving from whatever category they are in to Jewellery.... jewellery!

In the same report..... some they already have in Jewellery are moving into the category that others are being moved out of. Pure madness.

How do you deal with this? The move will add 15%+ in some cases to the fee and as we rely on bulk sales for small margins. This change makes it barely worthwhile. Just as we are recoving from S&L loss we get another issue!

These badges are going to be treated as if they are precious metal.... they are just a birthday badge fit for one use and then in most cases the bin! Yet the fee goes from 41p to 55p per badge in some cases. In our packs they go from 6.12 to 8.16 fee.

I have listed a few items recently and every time a totally irrelvent picture of jewellery is there instead of my image. Seller central don't help with this. I have no idea why it's happening. I understand when people hijack my listings but this is literally as it's listed amazon have replaced with my image with jewellery and won't let me change it!

Any ideas because there's no point me keeping on wasting time listing under these conditions.
