slow sales
Hello Sellers.
I experienced slow sales in january anf february is following the footsteps of january.
is this only me or its happening with all.
any experienced sellers here who would give there input about sales . when will good amount sales start in ?

I don't know what sector you're selling in, but with books, although nothing like the volume during the run up to Xmas, there's usually a big uptick in the quality of orders, at least for me, January/February and this year's been no different.
Always put it down to people using gift cards or money they got for Xmas.

Feb is historically the slowest month for sales for us. We put it down to people being skint after christmas and the bills coming in. However January is always busy due to people spending gift cards etc.

Amazon is performing awfully for me as of recent.
December 2023 i sold 150 units, December 2024 i sold 70 units.
January 2024 i sold 217 units, this January only 44.
Shocking. It's as though less and less people are using Amazon.

I haven't started selling in Europe yet. However, I am saying this as a long-term US seller. Sales did not slow down as of December, they almost stopped. Everyone is complaining about the same situation on the forums. And this stagnation is still continuing. My impression is that this is completely related to the updates made to the Amazon algorithm. Who knows, maybe Amazon AI is suppressing the listings because of the slightest negative thing it sees in the listings. We never found a clear answer. But I see that the same problem exists even in this market.
