EAN and DYMO LabelWriter 450
I have a new Dymo LabelWriter 450 I have barcodes from GS1 so have a GTIN 13 / EAN 13 digit number. I am trying to get this printed for the product.
But on the Dymo software, when I select EAN 13 as the barcode type. It says error. Only 12 digits are allowed. My EAN number is 13 digits long.
Is there something I am doing wrong ?

I have also tried removing the last digit of the EAN and its supposed to add it back again but it doesn’t

Hi, I have this labelwriter, actually they are so very simple once you get the hang of it
Add the barcode (ean13) and enter only the first 12 digits, the 13th digit will add itself once you have confirmed it. UNLESS, you have the updated version of the software which should allow you to add all 13.
If you are still stuck, contact DYMO, speak to Marcus if you can but if not they re all very helpful and will talk you through it
