Payment Pending
Hello ! I have 2 orders …one from 6 days ago and one from 2 hours… both in pending payment !
What to do now ?

Pending Payments are a pain in the neck sometimes as it can tie stock up for a few days until the payment goes through or the order just drops off and never goes through.
It is important to keep the stock reserved for the pending orders as it is possible that payment will be confirmed even if the order is 6 days old.
The longest I have had a pending order is 8 days before the order dropped and marked as cancelled. I have however heard other sellers say that they had pending orders for a lot longer…

mine are usually a max of about 5 days then they either disappear or go through .

Watch out, we had a customer chase an order in Payment Pending. Messages came via a Customer Services rep to either send out the order or cancel the order, neither of which we could do.
Eventually amazon closed the pending order but also kindly opened an A to Z for the customer - we got hit with an order defect for an order that never left Payment Pending and Amazon don’t seem to want to do anything about it!
