Multiple Scam Orders

I have been receiving multiple scam orders, over 10 orders in the past 7 days, and the "buyer" claims that they never received the package despite the tracking number shows it was delivered and at times even with photo proof provided by UPS. I noticed this buyer has repeatedly been purchasing the same product, at times different colors, then once the package shows delivered, they send a message stating that they never received the package. The buyer is opening multiple accounts with different names to make these orders. I am sure this scammer is drop shipping their orders this way then received the full refund after an A-Z claim. I am positive this is the same person scamming us due to many reasons.

1) they have been purchasing the same product over and over.

2) buyer repeatedly uses the same text over and over in the messages such as logistics company , confused or confusing, investigate etc.

3) For some order numbers, the buyer even used the SAME EXACT " non received" message from previous orders.

How does someone report something like this? I have everything documented and the order numbers. Has anyone been able to block scam buyers?

Hi @Seller_muAYzTvCfjU1Q,

Dominic from Amazon here, happy to help! This would be covered in our "Report Abuse" tool. This help page/training should walk you through the steps to do so.

Best,

Dominic

In addition to what @Dominic_Amazon has provided for the Amazon side here is a thought!

I don't have a solution for Amazon allowing theft and fraud BUT if this was shipped using the USPS please report the issue to the Postal Inspectors as mail fraud.

ALSO the Government has a site IC3 (Amazon will remove the link if I put it here) where you can report the use of the internet for theft if it was UPS, FedEx or whatever. It is generally used to report on websites but it can be used to report buyers as well if you happen to encounter one of the Amazon scam crowd.

In all cases it at least puts the con artists into a data base for future reference by the authorities.

There's an OLD saying -- If you aren't part of the solution you are part of the problem.

PLEASE REPORT, REPORT, REPORT, REPORT.

We have a very similar situation. Same product being purchased and same INR claim even though we have photos of every delivery. The language in the email is obviously from a non-native english speaker. One even mentioned that they did not get their Christmas order! All filed AtoZ claims and all were granted. Total scam.

If you used Amazon buy shipping, inform the buyer they need to file an A-Z claim with Amazon for a refund. If you didn't use Amazon Buy Shipping then open a case, and post the case ID here and tag a moderator.

I use this...

I am terribly sorry for USPS, I did ship it on time using Amazon Buy Shipping.

You need to request a refund through Amazon.

To request a refund:

Go to Your Orders.

Locate the order.

Select Problem with Order.

Select your problem from the list.

Select Request Refund.

Enter your comments in the text box.

Select Submit.
