I was suspended from a product I never sold

I got suspended from a product that didn't even sell 1 unit.

We bought 10 units from a seller on Amazon.com. And I got brand approval with this invoice.

But I didn't ship any of these products to Amazon. And I didn't list them as FBM.

So the ASIN was never active .And now Amazon has suspended it under the name not authentic.

Can someone please help me without losing my mind?

You cannot buy from Amazon and sell on Amazon, some argue it's OK if you are not a prime member but that's open to interpretation in my view. In my experience of 10 years here I say it's a no-no.

You should not have been approved with a receipt from Amazon, that was an error. You listed something with a non legit paper trail to the manufacturer/brand owner.

It doesn't matter if you never sold it. It doesn't matter if you never sent any units to FBA.

If you listed an item, that indicates an intent to sell (even if your inventory is set to 0). If that listing is in violation, then you can get hit with a violation.

You created a listing for an item which you cannot prove is authentic; so you got suspended. I don't know if it's possible to recover your account or not; it might depend on the brand. Amazon (and many brands) have gotten pretty strict regarding proper sourcing of inventory.

From what you have shared, I see that your account has been suspended for authenticity concerns and you have questions about what your available appeal options will look like.

Typically, to resolve any authenticity concerns whether it be a listing level or account level issue, an invoice from the manufacturer or authorized distributor for the brand will be required. The invoice itself must meet the following requirements...

Invoices must include:

-A clearly displayed issue date within the past 365 days before the receipt of the performance notification.

-Quantity sufficient to cover your sales volumes for each ASIN cited in the performance notification over the past 365 days.

-Sales records for each of the ASIN associated with the policy violation. You may choose to highlight the specific product that you are appealing for, if the invoice has multiple different products bought on it.

-Product identifiers that are easy to understand. These can include product name, model number, or Universal Product Code (UPC) that can be validated online.

-Contact information of your supplier, including a name, phone number, address, and website. We won’t share this information with our retail team or other Amazon sellers.

Your documents should be able to trace your products to the original manufacturer even if you did not purchase them directly from the manufacturer. This may require requesting additional invoices or supply chain documentation from your supplier if you are not sourcing directly from the manufacturer.

If you do not have an invoice that meets these requirements your account will remain deactivated until the requested information has been provided and accepted.

Post your original suspension notice (redact personal info), and there may be enough clues in there that someone can help.
