Missing Video Games
I've been following the multiple entries on missing inventory and have a question: is there a best practices way of sending inventory for FBA? I sent single small box with one SKU, the whole box went missing and I was reimbursed at cost, which kinda sucks because I bought the items on sale and cannot replace them at that cost.
Everything was fine for the next shipments and I then sent a larger box with multiple items thinking maybe bigger boxes are better and the entire box took a walk, again reimbursed at cost but not the cost of shipping, FBA costs or tax. Then everything went ok for the next few shipments.
What prompts this note is that I sent another box with multiple items and the entire count of one SKU was missing but the rest of the items in the box were registered. Video games missing, high value resale, opened a case for the one SKU but since the other items are accounted for, I am awaiting a reply.
I am looking for guidance here as I have been doing this for only a little bit- should an inventory list be included in the box? Photographs? Video? It is always the best selling items that take a walk.

Greetings @Seller_X0wI4Ji7NEb4J,
Thanks for taking the time to post! I first wanted to check on how you are sourcing your inventory? I recommend reviewing this thread I made from a few months ago that summarizes key points to know. The main point: you need to ensure that you are sourcing your inventory from an approved supplier who can provide you with valid invoices, rather than 3d party retailers. Failure to source inventory this way can result in some of the issues you're describing in your post. Obviously it's difficult to get approved suppliers for things like used video games - a similar experience can occur for sellers of used books who use FBA.
Let me know if you have additional thoughts or questions!
